READ READ READING
When we have finished our story writing we get a book, and read it on the mat.
Today Hannah was SO IMPRESSED with us because we were so busy reading our books!
We even forgot it was playtime!

Aboriginal Art
We have been looking at different kinds of art from around the world. We have drawn some Koru art, that's from New Zealand and we have also done some Aboriginal art from Australia. Before we had paint and paper, the Aboriginal people drew dot pictures with sticks and dirt inside their caves to tell stories.
We have told a story about our favourite animal using paint and our fingers to create the dots. You should come and have a look at them on our wall. We can tell you our story if you ask us . . .

Our Fireworks Soundscape!
Here is our 'Fireworks Soundscape'. We had to think of all the sounds that fireworks make. We came up with so many; Bang, pop, explode, blast, shoot, blow-up and burst. In groups, we had to come up with a sound using our body that would best describe that word. We had so much fun doing this and we were very creative. Have a look...
